Whisco TV Guide

Nepali TV in the Gulf, without a dish on the roof

Nepali households in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are used to a dish for Kantipur, Nepal Television or News 24. A rented flat often forbids the dish, and a shared roof is a bad place to argue. The legal substitute is the station’s own stream, not a box that also claims Indian cinema and Premier League.

Start with the station’s own channel

Search YouTube on the television for the station by name. A live badge on Nepal Television, Kantipur or News 24 means that station is streaming. Play that. If there is no live badge, the station has not opened a stream right now. Another website offering the same logo on a bare player is not a fallback we recommend, because the rights are no longer obvious.

Whisco lists a Nepali news row only when that official live embed is up and the channel page matches the station. A dark evening is a dark evening. It is not filled with a copied feed.

Serials and films

Nepali serials and films on official YouTube channels are the ones worth watching here. A Facebook rip with a phone number across the picture is not. Full films that are still in cinemas at home are not free just because a file has appeared. If it is not on the producer’s or the station’s channel, leave it.

A setup that survives a flat move

Subscribe to two station channels on the television, not to a playlist. When you move from one camp to another, you sign in again and the subscriptions come with the account. A stick you bought in the old building does not. The station’s app, where they have one, is the other official door. A Gulf phone number is sometimes rejected by those apps. YouTube on the television is the door that usually opens.
